We are in the middle of this years Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
The festival is a yearly event with something like 120.000 people visiting for a week of fun.
In this years demos we had a really good list of riders:
Oba Stanley, Mitch Yeates, Travis Johnston, Pim Van Den Bos, Kert Petersel, Eduards Zunda, Scott Lacey, Shoji Tanaka, Hannu Cools, Jocke Olsson, Thomas Skov, Jesper Stern, Allan Pedersen, Martin DT and Andreas Houmann.
First two days of riding were really nice, little windy, but otherwise good. But straight after the last demo rain started. And that kept going and going and going and going. On day two of the music part of the festival we had more rain on that day than we normally have in the entire July in Denmark. But that was nothing some ducttape and plastic bags could not fix (with a good mixture of beer).
Travis found someone dressed up in the same colours as he painted his bike, and decided to hide away in a purple plastic bag for some days. He is now armed with a wristband that allows him to have as much free beer as he likes, so I am sure there will be a lot more stories to tell later on.
A lot of people couldn't handle the mud and escaped back home. All in all, it's nothing but a good time.
The picture to the right features Mitch with an mx hop over the hip after the demos on the first day. Click on the picture to see it in colour.

Keep an eye out for more pictures from the teams gathering here in Copenhagen, which Dutch superphotographer, Rutger Pauw came to shoot pictures of.
